Where to look

• GitHub Releases— tags, notes, archives, and checksums.
• farwing.io/download— one-line installers for Linux, macOS, and Windows.

Install a specific version

Linux / macOS installer:

curl -fsSL -o farwing-install.sh https://farwing.io/install.sh
bash ./farwing-install.sh --version vX.Y.Z

Omit --version (or use latest) for the newest published release. Windows:

Invoke-WebRequest -UseBasicParsing https://farwing.io/install.ps1 -OutFile farwing-install.ps1
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\farwing-install.ps1 --version vX.Y.Z

Signing

• Windows builds are intended for Authenticode signing via Azure Artifact Signing once identity validation completes.
• Linux archives will carry detached signatures when minisign keys are published.
• macOS notarisation depends on the Apple Developer account.

Until those pipelines finish, prefer checksums from the GitHub release assets and the notes on the download page.
